setnetlpツールの使用方法

setnetlp''ツールには、コマンドラインにオプションを指定して実行する方法と、
対話形式で実行する方法があります。

┃1. コマンドラインにオプションを指定して実行する方法 ┃
┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛

スーパーユーザーで次のように実行します。

1.1 lpdプリンタとして登録する場合

■次のコマンドを実行します。

   # /usr/sbin/setnetlp -p <destination> -orm <remote_machine> \
                      -orp <remote_printer> -om <local_model>

  <destination>     プリンタを設定するプリンタ名を指定します。

  <remote_machine>  ネットワークプリンタに設定されたリモートホスト名を指定
                    します。

  <remote_printer>  ネットワークプリンタに設定されたリモートプリンタ名を
                    指定します。

  <local_model>     フォーマッタとして使用するモデルファイル名を指定します。

1.2 ftpプリンタとして登録する場合

■次のコマンドを実行します。

   # /usr/sbin/setnetlp -ftp -p <destination> -orm <remote_machine> \
                      -om <local_model>

  ここで使われている引数の詳細は、"lpdプリンタとして登録する場合"と同じです。

1.3 削除する場合

■次のコマンドを実行します。

   # /usr/sbin/setnetlp -x <destination>

  指定した宛先 <destination> をシステムから削除する

┃2. 対話形式で実行する方法 ┃

スーパーユーザーで次のように実行します。

2.1 起動、機能の選択

  1./usr/sbin/setnetlp をオプションなしで実行します。

   # /usr/sbin/setnetlp	 
  
  2.次のメインメニューが表示されます。

	    ###################################
	    #           MAIN MENU             #
	    #  Network Printer Configuration  #
	    ###################################

	       1) Add lpd Network Printer
	       2) Add ftp Network Printer
	       3) Remove Printer

	       q) Quit

	Please enter a selection:

  3.メインメニューからメニューを選択します。

   lpd プリンタを追加するときには:  1) Add lpd Network Printer を選択します。
   ftp プリンタを追加するときには:  2) Add ftp Network Printer を選択します。
   プリンタを削除するときには:      3) Remove Printer を選択します。
   終了したいときは:                q) Quit を選択します。

2.2 プリンタを追加する場合
 
■MAIN MENU で、設定するネットワークプリンタの接続方式に従い、
    1) Add lpd Network Printer
    2) Add ftp Network Printer
  のいずれかを選択します。

  次のようなコンフィギュレーションメニューが表示されます。(1を選択した場合の例)
  Current Settings には、現在設定されている値が表示されます。

	lpd Network Printer Configulation


	Configurable Parameters:             Current Settings
	------------------------             ----------------
	0) Done. Make Configuration now!
	1) Lp destination name:              [(N/A)]
	2) Remote System name:               [(N/A)]
	3) Remote Printer name:              [(N/A)]
	4) Local Model Script:               [(N/A)]

	q) Quit

	Select an item for change or select "0":


■1) Lp destination name: を選択した場合

  現在使用されているデスティネーション名のリストとプロンプトが表示されます。


	Currently used names:
	---------------------------------------------------------
	lj      lj3p      lp_1      lp_2      netlp1      netlp2
	lbp_net ps        escp

	Please enter a lp destination name:


  プロンプトの後に設定したいプリンタ名を入力します。

  例
  Please enter a lp destination name: netlp3

■2) Remote System name: を選択した場合

  次のプロンプトが 表示されます。

	Please enter a remote system name/IP address:

  プロンプトの後に接続するプリンタのリモートホスト名または IP アドレスを入力
  します。

  例
  Please enter a remote system name/IP address: lphost

■3) Remote Printer name: を選択した場合
  (ftp Network Printer の設定では選択できません)

  次のプロンプトが表示されます。

	Please enter a remote printer name:

  プロンプトの後に接続するプリンタのリモートプリンタ名を入力します。

  例
  Please enter a remote printer name: netlp

■4) Local Model Script: を選択した場合

  モデルファイルのリストとプロンプトが表示されます。

	Valid Models:

	Please enter a model file:

  プロンプトの後に使用するモデルファイル名を入力します。

  例
  Please enter a model file: PS.nlio

■0) Done. Make Configuration now! を選択した場合

  つぎのプロンプトが表示されます。

	WARNING: This operation requires lp spooler be shut down.
	The spooler will be running again after this operation is done.
	If there are jobs currently being printed, those are reprinted in
	their entirely after spooler is started again.

	OK to continue? (y/n, defalut-n):

  y を入力すると:      追加が実行されます。
  y 以外を入力すると:  MAIN MENU に戻ります。

■プリンタの追加が正常に終了した場合

  次のメッセージが表示されます。
  リターンを押すとコンフィギュレーションメニューに戻ります。

	Printer, "destination", has been added.
	Press the return-key to return to configuration menu...


2.3 プリンタを削除する場合

■MAIN MENU で 3) Remove Printerを選択します

  1.setnetlp で設定されたプリンタのリストとプロンプトが表示されます。

	Currently configured Network Printer queues:
	----------------------------------------------------------
	lp_1      lp_2     netlp1       netlp2      netlp3
	lbp_net

	Please enter a lp destination name: 

  2.削除するプリンタデスティネーション名を入力します。

    例
    Please enter a lp destination name: netlp3

  3.リターンを押すと、次のプロンプトが表示されます。

	WARNING: This operation requires lp spooler be shut down.
	The spooler will be running again after this operation is done.
	If there are jobs currently being printed, those are reprinted in
	their entirely after spooler is started again.

	OK to continue? (y/n, defalut-n):

    y を入力すると:      削除が実行されます。
    y 以外を入力すると:  MAIN MENU に戻ります。

■プリンタの削除が正常に終了した場合

  次のメッセージが表示されます。
  リターンを押すと MAIN MENU に戻ります。 

	Printer,netlp3, has been removed.
	Press the return-key to return to main menu...
